I AM USAF RETIRED NCO, BUT WHEN I WAS IN THE AIR FORCE AS AM AIRCRAFT MECHANIC ON THE FLIGHTLINE, WE WOULD DRINK GALLONS OF COFFEE BY 9AM EVERYDAY
I now work alone (thankfully), but I was at a company with 10 employees. As low woman on the totem one of my first jobs was to wash out the coffee mugs. They were black inside but I got them clean – big mistake! They were used to someone just rinsing them out but I did such a good job I was given the task permanently. My first lesson in “Best is not always best”.
My co-workers are coffee drinking fools! We used to have 3 coffee machines going all at once, until the budget took them all away and replaced it with one of those Kuerig coffee machines (which is very nice by the way!) Now there is a line for the coffee!! My boss always misplaces his coffee cups, so he has like 4 sitting around the office in different places. If you walk by the book shelf you might see when there and then when you get to the fridge, you might see another one there too!! There is a rumor that the coffee machine may get taken away due to budget contraints! I would hate to walk into work when that day comes!!!!!!!! It would be like cranky, wild animals on the loose!!!!!! Thanks for this giveaway. I would love to display this on my desk at work!

Everyone here is always quick to the coffee in the morning to the point that we’re sometimes out by 7:30am and in need of a re-brew. I can deal with that but I hate mornings of the double whammy! Coffee run dry and sugar-bowl emptied! Come on, people! Get on the ball here! Refill the coffee or the sugar or (dare I say!) BOTH!!! I like me some coffee!

Nothing matches relying on daily lukewarm burnt-coffee (the kind that keeps us wired and thickens the linings of our mouths by mid-morning) when it comes to promoting zippedy work habits and shared misery to bond office mates!
When I was younger, my father would drink so much coffee that the mugs from his office would start to come home and fill the kitchen cabinet, as well as home mugs would start to disappear. I remember the day that my mother took all of the mugs, put them in a box, and brought them to the basement. She told him that he was allowed two mugs, and when those where missing he was out of luck.

We tend to bring in our own coffee because we have cheap (but free!) coffee at the office and we know that a coworker is having a rough day if they are drinking that sludge in the gross styrafoam cup

My coworkers always seem to be trying to show off by bringing coffee in in the morning. We don’t have a coffee machine at the office, so the lucky few who have time to make some/buy some in the morning try to “pose” with their mug around the office. It bothers everyone, but at the same time everyone does their fair share of it. The sweetest moments are when the posers spill!!

My husband leaves mugs, styrofoam cups and travel mugs all over the place! We all have to check our cups once or twice to make sure they belong to us. Having my own special mug would be fabulous!

Since the coffee service only cleans the coffee maker every so often, the amount of coffee consumed in the office varies based upon when the coffee maker was cleaned. When the machine is clean and the coffee is fresh, the volume of coffee consumed is great as that wonderful smell wafts through the hall. The farther away from that time, however, the happier the owner of the local coffee shops are. I hope that there isn’t a conspiracy afoot….
I drink coffee all by myself so I don’t have a problem. It’s a four cup coffeepot so I drink it all by myself!
i drink a lot of coffee, i drink some at home before work and then more when i get to work, i drink it black unless i have some good creamer i like to try in it

My coffee mug always gets used by someone…I need to figure out who it is!!!
We are a virtual company, but get together weekly at a local coffee shop (we rotate) and gorge ourselves on caffeinated beverages.
I am the official coffe maker even though I dont no how I got this position. Everyone looks at me when there is no more coffee. I am not the coffee girl.
